A father tells his son the greatest story ever told, and what begins as a bedtime tale becomes a life-changing journey. Through vivid imagination, the boy walks alongside Jesus, witnessing His miracles, facing His trials, and understanding His ultimate sacrifice. The King of Kings invites us to rediscover the enduring power of hope, love, and redemption through the eyes of a child.

The City invites residents to its Arbor Day event, Thursday, April 24 at 8:30 a.m.
at Joe Henry Memorial Park (2250 W. Colorado Street).
The annual tree planting serves as both a beautification effort and a hands-on educational experience. Community members are invited to join in planting the trees or simply observe. Parks and Recreation will provide tools and guidance, but participants should bring their own gardening gloves. The event is free and open to the public.
During this event, a member of the Yuma City Council will read the Arbor Day proclamation, then City staff and volunteers will plant approximately 40 trees approved for Yuma’s environment that are expected to provide large amounts of shade at maturity. Students from area schools typically attend and learn about the tree planting process as well.
The City thanks APS and the Department of Forestry and Fire Management for their sponsorship of Arbor Day.
