A Yuma tradition for food and entertainment, Tacos and Tunes returns 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 in downtown Yuma.
The headline entertainment this year is Kumbia Queen, a tribute to Selena, who is scheduled to take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Prior to that, the band Rock of Ages will rock the crowd.
The 200 block of Main Street will be Taco Land, where taco vendors from all over Yuma County will compete for the title of Taco King for 2024. Festival treats such as roasted corn, shaved ice, and other desserts will be in the 100 and 300 blocks of Main Street.
Tacos and Tunes includes attractions on Madison Avenue, where Streetwise Car Club is hosting a car show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., followed by four 20-minute showings of Lucha Libre, a style of professional wrestling originating from Mexico, at 6 p.m. Local dancers will perform in the 300 block of Main Street and on Madison Avenue.
