Change a Shelter dog's life for a day!
Let's make more tails wag with the Humane Society of Yuma's program: Dog's Day Out! These are outings that can include a trip to the river, a short hike, brunch, or even simply hanging out at the park.
Our Dog's Day Out program isn't just limited to individuals looking to make a difference in a dog's life. It is also open to businesses willing to take in an office dog for a day or two. Not only is it good socialization for the animal but it can also relieve stress in the work environment. This program was created to help reduce kennel stress and provide dogs with enrichment. This program also provides valuable insight into how the dog behaves outside the shelter environment.
